KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A judge sentenced a Johnson County man to decades in prison for the murders of his mother and former aunt.
Luke A. Howard, 35, previously pleaded guilty in connection to two counts of second-degree murder. The crimes are for the deaths of Valerie Howard, 63, and Valerie’s former sister-in-law, Joyce Austin, 71.
