Belton rancher says trade war could push more people to buy local

BELTON, Mo. – As the trade war intensifies between the United States and Canada, many industries could see demand issues. However, one Belton, Missouri, rancher said it may push people to buy local.

Brad Batchelder owns Batchelder Family Farms in Belton and said from raising the livestock, processing its meat and selling it, it’s all done locally.
