Kansas City is investigating how one of its solid waste trucks struck a bicyclist over the weekend, leaving the rider with life-threatening injuries.
Ryan McMonigle, a spokesperson for the city’s Public Works Department, said the city is aware of the incident and is investigating the crash at 79th Terrace and Main Street on Saturday.
