Travis Kelce, Kodiak Donate 25,000 Meals to Local Children

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is enjoying as busy a season as just about any NFL player, but he’s still finding ways to give back to his local community. This time around, he’s got some help as well.

On Thursday morning, it was announced that Kelce is teaming up with Kodiak to donate 25,000 meals to Kansas City youth through Operation Breakthrough. Kodiak, a popular breakfast brand known for its items filled with protein and whole grains, is a company Kelce has been invested in since 2022.

Kelce issued a statement on his partnership, per PR Newswire :

“Joining forces with my friends over at Kodiak to fuel the Operation Breakthrough families is a total privilege. Alongside Kodiak, a brand I love, we will be making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day life of hundreds of Kansas City kids, and I couldn’t be more excited to make this happen,” shared Travis.

This is another nice gesture in a long series of them for Kelce during his time in Kansas City. Since joining the community back in 2013, he’s partaken in a handful of charitable efforts and was even the Chiefs’ nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award back in 2020. Kelce’s 87 & Running Foundation is youth-focused and has enhanced the lives of countless children and their families.
