Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer said the lawyer of the homeowner, Jordan Willis, made ‘nonsensical statements’ that do not line up with the narratives of the victims’ families and friends
A former FBI agent is throwing cold water on a homeowner’s story that three Kansas City Chiefs fans froze to death two days after a game.
The bodies of David Harrington, 37; Ricky Johnson, 38; and Clayton McGeeney, 36; were discovered in the backyard of a friend’s home on January 7 . The Messenger previously reported that the homeowner told police that the three men froze to death.
The homeowner, Jordan Willis, has not been arrested, and police have so far ruled out foul play.
But the story doesn’t add up, according to former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer. In a series of tweets posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Coffindaffer outlined six “inconsistencies” and “nonsensical statements” made by the homeowner or his attorney in the course of the investigation.
Coffindaffer said the story changed multiple times, with Willis initially saying he had been asleep when the three men left. Then he flip-flopped to say he wasn’t, Coffindaffer said.
