We are tracking a few opportunities for rain later this week, the first being a small chance on Thursday with a light shower or two possible. The rain opportunity later this weekend is a bit more significant and could impact some of those outdoor weekend plans. We think that the better chance for rain is Saturday, especially later in the day and into Sunday morning. Right now, the heaviest band of rain looks to set up on the Kansas side, so those of you west of Kansas City could see the highest totals with this next system, between 0.50″ and 1″. Still think a couple tenth of an inch of rain is possible closer to the Kansas/Missouri state line, and then those of you east will see a steep cut off. Still many days out so we will let you know of shifts as we get closer.
