CLAY COUNTY – As it has been three years since her death, deputies in Clay County are again asking for information that may help solve the murder of Alesha Reade. Reade was last seen alive about 8:40 p.m. Feb. 9, 2021, getting into a dark-colored Volkswagen Passat passenger vehicle at the Fav Trip gas station at 10507 E. 23rd St. in Independence.
