Agnes Marie Aubuchon, 87, Lee’s Summit, formerly of Festus

Agnes Marie Aubuchon, 87, of Lee’s Summit, formerly of Festus, died June 15, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Aubuchon, known to some as “Aggie” or “Nookie,” was a graduate of Festus High School, a homemaker and an active member of Our Lady Parish. In the 1970s and 80s, she was well-known for her volunteer work at Our Lady School, St. Pius X High School and Twin City Little League. She also worked in the late 80s as a flower arranger and deliverer at Festus Flower Shoppe. She and her husband, Bob, relocated to Lee’s Summit in 2020 to be closer to family. She lived out her remaining years at Addington Place Assisted Living Home, where she made many friends with both the staff and fellow residents. She also was a regular winner at bingo and trivia challenge. Most of all, she loved her Catholic faith and spending time with her family and friends. Born June 25, 1936, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Zola (Derousse) and Howard L. Portell.
