JOHNSON COUNTY -A Kansas man is going to prison for the rest of his life for the death of a teen. Last week, Judge Brenda M. Cameron sentenced 29-year-old Malik Jamal Delva to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 25-years for first degree murder, and granted an upward durational departure due to aggravating factors to 154 months in prison for distribution of marijuana, according to the Johnson County District Attorney’s office.
