Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino floated the idea that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are on the rocks after she was absent from Sunday’s game.
Since the two made their relationship public, Swift has become a regular sight at Kansas City Chiefs games. Due to her own busy career, however, she isn’t at every single game.
Though it wasn’t the first time Swift missed a game, the Fox News anchors theorized that Sunday’s absence — in addition to Kelce’s uncharacteristically lackluster play — is the result of turmoil between the two:
HEMMER: Was Travis Kelce looking a little bleak with her missing? He caught four passes, 30 yards, no touchdowns. Off to a slow start, is Travis. [It was] the first game that Taylor has missed the season, promising Swifties and Chief fans that she’ll try and make as many games as possible. Last night was not one of them; however, and I ask you, Dana Marie Perino, do you think there is trouble in paradise for America’s first couple?
PERINO: Well, I don’t know. I’m not sure I care, but I will tell you this: the girls are talking about it. It’s out there in the universe. They’re wondering what’s going on.
HEMMER: Usually, I mean, NBC, Fox will give you like four or five cutaways of her up there in the crowd. Last night, nada; so the mystery continues.
PERINO: Pressure is on for next week, indeed.
