Hill’s Pet Nutrition Helps 11 Abandoned Puppies in Kansas

The thought of someone abandoning a litter of 11 puppies in a crate by the side of the road is unimaginable to most of us. Thankfully, despite being dirty and hungry, these little ones were otherwise okay.

The Great Plains SPCA in Merriam, Kansas found some wonderful foster families to care for the 11 puppies, and Hills Pet Nutrition made sure the were supplied with Science Diet Puppy Sensitive Stomach & Skin food.

The Great Plains SPCA posted on Instagram, in part,  “It simply breaks our hearts to see the number of innocent animals left to die on the streets. All of these pups are filthy, exhausted from their ordeal, and immediately fell asleep once they realized they were safe. With PARVO positive pups already in our care and numerous others exposed, our shelter is struggling with all of the young dogs in need. Please DONATE today. Without your support, we could not say yes to the influx of pets that are suffering due to senseless cruelty.”
