CLAY COUNTY, Mo – Two people from Kansas City were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Clay County yesterday. The accident occurred just after 3:30 pm at the intersection of State Route 92 and Plattsburg Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by 41-year-old Cody Martin of Raytown was northbound on Plattsburg Road and failed to stop at a stop sign, resulting in him hitting an eastbound SUV driven by 49-year-old Jay Grimes of Kansas City.
