LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) – Embers from a patio fireplace previously used Thursday night led to a fire at a Lee’s Summit home early Friday morning. The Lee’s Summit Fire Department said it was called to the 1500 block of SE Silkwood Lane at 2:42 a.m. Friday. A neighbor called the fire department to report a fire on the home’s deck that spread to the house.
