KANSAS CITY – The Missouri Department of Transportation is in need of dozens of more plow drivers before the snow flies.
MoDOT says it has 200 slots to fill across the state, including 80 in the Kansas City region.
Qualified applicants would receive extensive training so they would be able to perform routine, entry-level duties related to MoDOT’s snow removal operations.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with interstate designated status and no air-brake restrictions.
Those hired as emergency operators can earn $22.69 to $28.13 per hour, depending on their levels of experience.
