On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina has closed its last Kansas City area restaurant.
The lights are off at the Overland Park spot, 11855 W. 95th St., near Oak Park Mall. It had been there for 25 years, overtaking local Mexican restaurant Annie’s Santa Fe.
A spokesperson with the mall confirmed that On the Border had closed in late February. On the Border could not be immediately reached Wednesday afternoon for comment…
