KHP catches teen driver going 110 mph because they were ‘late for curfew’

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Kansas Highway Patrol is once again sharing photos of drivers caught going over 100 miles per hour.

KHP said a trooper pulled over a teenager going 110 mph on Saturday night. The 17-year-old driver told the trooper they were running late and trying to make it home before curfew.

The patrol shared this image on social media, urging teen drivers to call their parents and explain instead of speed because they would rather you and everyone else on the road make it home safely…
