ASSARIA, Kan. (KNSW) — A small earthquake has been recorded in Saline County.
The U.S. Geological Survey says it happened at 2:11 p.m. in a field off I-135, northwest of Assaria. The quake measured 2.7 in magnitude, and so far, there are no reports of anyone feeling any shaking.

According to USGS data , the earthquake had a depth of around 4.5 miles. Most people only feel Earthquakes measuring 3.0 or higher .
