FERRELVIEW, Mo. (KCTV) – A Platte City man was arrested over the weekend under claims that he assaulted a man who is now on a ventilator.
According to documents filed by the Platte County Circuit Court, deputies were called to a home near 7th Street and Heady Avenue on March 8, 2025, on reports of an outdoor disturbance. When they arrived, they found a man lying unconscious in the street.
Witnesses and the victim told the deputies the suspect in the case, 68-year-old Thomas Allen Carson, was arguing with another person when the victim tried to intervene.
