Since last summer, Super Flea (6200 St. John Avenue) bargain shoppers had to navigate their way to a side entrance as building renovations continued. On Thursday, March 13, building owner Cubework coordinated with the Northeast Chamber of Commerce to host a ribbon-cutting, open house, and preview of the new main entrance.
From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., the main doors were open to community members and prospective vendors to check out the market space, now featuring fresh paint, updated restrooms, and an array of vendors- some new to the space and others as longtime vendors.
Following an introduction from Rita Strickland, Business Development Manager for Cubework, vendors gathered outside the new entrance for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Three, two, one- CUT!
