LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) – A Grain Valley man is charged in connection with a road rage shooting that shut down part of a busy interstate and tied up traffic in both Lee’s Summit and Independence.
Christian Eubanks is charged with:
- Unlawful use of a weapon
- Armed criminal action
- Endangering the welfare of a child
Police responded to a call about people in two vehicles shooting at each other on March 21 near NE I-470 and NE Lakewood Way in Lee’s Summit.
According to court documents, the driver of a truck involved in the incident called police around 12:45 p.m. He said a man in a gray four-door Jeep pulled a gun and shot at him as he drove down the interstate. He returned fire and both vehicles continued to drive north toward Independence.
