KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man was sentenced in federal court Monday for illegally possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
The U.S. Department of Justice said 28-year-old Darren M. Wood was sentenced to five years in prison without parole. His sentencing comes just over four months after he pled guilty to a count of possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
