KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV)— Just after 11 p.m. on Monday, March 31, officers and ambulance personnel responded to a medical call in the 3000 block of Mersington Avenue and E. 30th Street, northeast of Central High School.
There, they found a man lying in the street. EMTs declared him deceased. Late Tuesday afternoon, police identified the man as 52-year-old Eric Stennis.
Detectives are canvassing for additional witnesses, and crime scene investigators are processing for evidence to give detectives a better idea of what led to the killing. Police said Tuesday evening an investigation led them to identify a subject of interest, who has been taken into custody…
