KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Police Department said Tuesday that detectives now believe a woman’s suspicious death was a homicide.
Officers were first dispatched to the 9000 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard around 7 p.m. on Monday, April 1. They were called to make a welfare check, but when they entered the home, they found a woman dead with “unknown” injuries.
Detectives were called to the scene due to the suspicious nature of the incident. They began their investigation by processing the scene and speaking to possible witnesses. Overnight, the medical examiner’s office notified the detectives that they found evidence she may have been murdered…
