KANSAS CITY, Kan. (WIBW) – A man escaped serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash that occurred during a storm early Wednesday on Interstate 70 in Wyandotte County, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday on westbound I-70 about a mile east of the Interstate 435 interchange.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2024 Isuzu box truck was traveling west on I-70 during a period of heavy rain and strong winds when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which struck the median barrier with the front driver’s-side corner.
