Better keep that rain gear handy. It will be a rainy start to the weekend in Kansas City, according to the National Weather Service.
An active weather pattern is expected to continue across the region with a chance for light rain to develop as early as Thursday afternoon, the weather service said.
“Expect rain chances to increase (Thursday) afternoon across the southern portions of our (Kansas City forecast area) with 30-50% probability of precipitation remaining mainly south of the greater Kansas City area and only 15-25% from St. Joseph to Kansas City,” the weather service said…
