KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A handful of students in the Kansas City area have been left to scramble for funds as they prepare for college after promised scholarships were pulled among a local company’s DEI policy changes.
The Urban League of Greater Kansas City announced on Thursday, April 10, a deep disappointment with a decision made by the Oracle Corporation. A commitment to provide $10,000 in scholarships – as well as funds for other programs – has been rescinded.
