After what is expected to be a dry, albeit cooler, start to the workweek, the Kansas City area will have multiple chances for thunderstorms later on, the National Weather Service said.
A cold front moved through the Kansas City region on Monday morning. Trailing cooler air is expected to send temperatures back to normal, a significant change after temperatures reached 84 degrees in the metro on Sunday. Typically, Kansas City’s temperatures are in the mid-60s this time of year.
