A fatal hit-and-run crash involving two men from Grandview occurred early Friday morning on Holmes Road just north of Highway 58 in Cass County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 4:44 a.m. on April 18 when a northbound unknown vehicle towing a trailer crossed the center line. A southbound 2003 Toyota Corolla collided with the trailer being towed. The impact forced the Corolla off the right side of the roadway, where it came to rest.
