KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) – A driver who told a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper they were running late for work on Friday morning saw their day get worse when the trooper says they were clocked going 143 miles per hour in a 75 mph zone.
KHP’s Troop A posted on Facebook that this happened in Miami County at 6:30 a.m. on U.S. 69 at milepost 126. The driver’s citation indicates that it will cost them $873.
