A Kansas City, Missouri, man has been sentenced in federal court following a conviction for fentanyl distribution and illegal firearm possession related to drug trafficking activity.
Lawrence A. Andrews, 51, received a sentence of 10 years in federal prison without the possibility of parole. U.S. Chief District Judge Beth Phillips issued the sentence during a hearing held in federal court.
Andrews previously entered a guilty plea on March 4, 2025, to two federal offenses: possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
