KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) has launched a new ropes program for SWAT officers.
KCPD said the program will help officers in rescue operations, such as negotiator responses on rooftops and bridges.
“These highly-skilled officers have been training for if and when they are needed in these situations,” the police department said on Facebook.
