KANSAS CITY, Kan. (WIBW) – Three people were taken to an area hospital after a rollover crash early Friday on Interstate 70 in Wyandotte County.
The crash was reported around 5:20 a.m. Friday on eastbound I-70 near the N. 78th Street exit.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2010 Jeep Patriot sport utility vehicle was traveling east on I-70 when it left the right side of the highway while attempting to avoid colliding with a white sedan that swerved into its lane.
After leaving the roadway, the Jeep struck a metal delineator post then struck the end of a metal guardrail before overturning two times in the ditch and coming to rest in an upright position…
