OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – The man who admitted to his role in a woman’s fatal overdose in Overland Park has been sentenced to prison.
The Johnson County, Kansas, District Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday, Aug. 20, that Ahmad M. Karraz, 23, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in the overdose of Kylie Liston.
Court documents indicated that in June, Karraz pleaded guilty to the distribution of drugs causing death and three counts of use of a communication facility during a drug felony.
In November 2024, the Prosecutor’s Office said it had charged Karraz and his co-defendant, Ronaley Arriola, in connection with Liston’s death. Arriola faced a single charge of use of a communication facility during a drug felony.
Court documents noted that Arriola pleaded guilty to her charge in April. There is no word on her sentencing…
