KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Nearly half a dozen suspected drug dealers were federally charged in connection with an illegal drug trafficking ring in Kansas City.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri announced on Wednesday, Aug. 20, that five individuals have been federally charged for their roles in a drug trafficking ring:
- Marcellus W. Anderson, 31, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Tyra K. M. McGee, 37, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Virgil D. Tillman, 41, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Martin A. Holloman, 40, of Kansas City, Missouri
- Ricky M. Bowie, 25, of Kansas City, Kansas
Federal prosecutors noted that the indictment replaces charges returned on June 27, which only named Anderson and McGee. The new indictment includes additional defendants and accusations.
Court documents indicated that all 5 defendants sold fentanyl, a fentanyl analogue, heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine in the metro between Dec. 1, 2023, and June 11, 2025…
