KCK warned to put trash bins out early as WM adjusts schedule for funeral of fallen colleague

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – The funeral of a fallen colleague is expected to disrupt trash pickup schedules in Kansas City and Wyandotte County.

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas, has warned customers of Waste Management that they may want to put their bins out earlier for collection on Friday, Aug. 22.

UG leaders noted that residential trash collection is expected to begin earlier than normal, around 6 a.m. Crews are set to adjust schedules to allow members to attend the funeral of a colleague who passed away earlier in the week…
