Five individuals from Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas, have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their alleged involvement in a large-scale drug-trafficking conspiracy that included sales to an undercover federal agent. One defendant also faces multiple firearm-related charges.
The superseding indictment, returned under seal on Aug. 13, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri, charges Marcellus W. Anderson, 31, Tyra K. M. McGee, 37, Virgil D. Tillman, 41, and Martin A. Holloman, 40, all of Kansas City, Missouri, along with Ricky M. Bowie, 25, of Kansas City, Kansas. The indictment was unsealed this week following the arrest and initial court appearance of Bowie. Tillman and Holloman were also taken into custody this week.
