Daviess County charges man in motorcycle pursuit at 160 mph speeds

A Kansas City man is facing multiple charges in Daviess County after authorities say he led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit that began late Thursday night, August 28, and ended with his arrest early Friday morning, August 29.

Prosecutors have charged 20-year-old Keehan David Freeman with felony aggravated fleeing a stop or detention. He also faces misdemeanor counts of speeding, careless and imprudent driving, failure to maintain insurance, driving without a valid motorcycle license, and failing to signal. In addition, he has been cited for an infraction of failing to display license plates. Bond has been denied.

According to court documents, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper first observed Freeman on Interstate 35 in Clinton County traveling 86 miles per hour in a 70 zone. The motorcycle then accelerated to 160 miles per hour as the trooper pursued it into Daviess County.
