Bomb squad called to remove WWII bombs found by movers in Prairie Village home

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. (KCTV) – The Prairie Village Police Department says a bomb recovery was completed Tuesday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, the department said movers found two WWII-era bombs in a home on Sept. 9. It’s unclear exactly where the bombs were or who owned them.

The Overland Park Police Department’s explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team was called to the scene, and the bombs were safely removed…
