Many people who visited the Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, September 13, had a scary end to their night when the park was evacuated following fears that shots were fired.
Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) off-duty officers received a report that one individual had heard “possible shots fired,” according to local outlet KCBC. Visitors were then ordered to evacuate as police and other agencies made their way to the amusement park.
