TRADE JOE’S fans are in for a treat – the popular grocery chain is expanding into an area that’s gone seven long years without a supermarket, and shoppers won’t have to pay local sales tax on their groceries.

THE new store will anchor a massive $102 million redevelopment effort known as the Merriam Grand Station Marketplace.
