KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The future is uncertain for an injured Leawood boy who remains in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle, according to his family. Doctors were able to stabilize Duke Ommert, according to a page created to provide updates about the 4th grader.
A family friend received permission from the family to share the information with KCTV5 Thursday afternoon.
