KCPS faces age discrimination lawsuit filed by a longtime employee

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A 35-year veteran of the Kansas City Public School District says his decades of service meant nothing when a supervisor allegedly began to harass him because of his age.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Oct. 15, indicate that a maintenance department employee is suing the Kansas City Public School District.

Court documents indicated that Meyers Law Firm filed the discrimination suit against the District on behalf of Jack Arnold, a 62-year-old building generalist. He has been a district employee for 35 years…
