Four injured after vehicle pursuit on I-35 South turns into critical injury crash

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Four people were injured in a crash following a vehicle pursuit over the weekend.

According to the Kansas City police, it happened just after midnight on Sunday, November 2, near I-35 and Northeast Vivon Road. An investigation revealed that a Highway Patrol Trooper was pursuing a silver Infiniti G35 for speeding and careless driving.

During the pursuit, on I-35 South, past the NE Vivion exit, the driver of the Infiniti lost control and crashed into an embankment. The driver, along with three passengers, were all taken to an area hospital…
