4 arrested in vehicle chase, shots fired at Missouri State Highway Patrol vehicle

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Four were arrested late Sunday night after a vehicle chase resulted in shots being fired at a Missouri State Highway Patrol vehicle and KCMO police officers.

The MSHP trooper tried to pull over a speeding car just before 10:30 p.m., a release stated. The car refused to stop, leading to a pursuit.

During the chase, a passenger in the suspect vehicle fired shots at the trooper south of Missouri Highway 152 and north of Pleasant Valley Road, law enforcement stated.

The passenger fired at the patrol car again at the 18th Street exit on eastbound I-70 and struck the MSHP vehicle, the patrol indicated. The pursuit continued, and shots were fired again at KCMO police officers…
