OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) — Thousands of families across the Kansas City metro started their Thanksgiving with a run Thursday morning, participating in two popular Turkey Trot races in the Kansas City area.
Athletes, amatures and families laced up their shoes and dressed for the chilly weather to run the Parkville Turkey Trail Trot. The annual 5K or two-mile walk wind through English Landing Park.
