KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – The Kansas City, Kansas school board approved new boundary lines Tuesday night that will move about 1,000 students to different schools starting in the 2027-28 school year.
The changes come after voters approved a bond last year to build three new schools and combine others. The district said its focus is evening out enrollment numbers so classes aren’t too big at one school and too small at another.
