National JCC Association asks Royals to find different location for new stadium

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A national affiliate of the local Jewish Community Center said it’s “deeply concerned” about the potential new Royals stadium in Overland Park, Kansas.

The JCC Association of North America sent a letter to Gov. Laura Kelly and Lt. Gov. David Toland expressing its concerns.

“Recent reports about possible plans to build a Kansas City Royals stadium adjacent to the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City’s Overland Park campus have raised significant concerns that we wish to share with you,” the letter said.
