On Dec. 22, Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway filed a petition for injunction, civil penalties, and other remedies against Frank Savory IV and S. Family Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Savory and Sons Funeral Home. The petition alleges that the defendants made false promises and engaged in unfair practices in the sale of funeral arrangements to consumers in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The firm’s website is down, and its Google listing notes that it is “temporarily closed.”
