Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway has filed an injunction against Frank Savory IV and S. Family Enterprises, LLC over allegations that Savory IV operated the Kansas City-based Savory and Sons Funeral Home without proper licensing. The action also addresses claims of false promises and unfair practices in the sale of funeral arrangements.
Attorney General Hanaway emphasized the importance of fairness and integrity in funeral services, stating that families should be able to trust these institutions. The injunction was pursued in coordination with Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson, who also obtained a grand jury indictment against Frank Savory IV.
