KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City’s role in the 2026 FIFA World Cupis poised to become even more significant.
Four highly-placed sources have confirmed to FOX4 that four countries, Argentina, England, the Netherlands and Algeria will call the Kansas City metro home during the 2026 World Cup, basing their training camps in the region for the tournament.
The sources spoke to FOX4 on the condition of anonymity as they’re not yet authorized to comment publicly. Argentina, England and Netherlands were the initial teams FOX4 reported Tuesday afternoon, and we’ve since learned that Algeria will be here, too…
